CA confirms nomination of Gapay to rank of general, appointments of 29 AFP officials

The Commission on Appointments on Wednesday confirmed the nomination of Armed Forces chief Lieutenant General Gilbert Gapay to the rank of general and the ad interim appointments of 29 other military officials.

According to Senator Panfilo Lacson, the Commission on Appointments' Committee on National Defense found that the nominee and 29 appointees are all fit and qualified for the ranks given to them.

The ad interim appointments of the following military officials were confirmed:

• Major General Gilbert Saret
• Major General Alfredo Rosario Jr.
• Colonel Jaime Datuin
