PhilHealth main office closed for 2 days after employee tests positive for COVID-19

PhilHealth's main office in Mandaluyong will be closed for two days after one employee tested positive for COVID-19, a Balitanghali report said Tuesday.

The office will be closed from September 22 to 23, 2020 for disinfection procedures.

The health insurer meanwhile assured its members that the processing of claims, payouts and other needs will not be affected by the closure of the main office as these are done in local offices.

The report said the building houses the offices of PhilHealth's key officials and program officers

For the meantime, the executive meeting to be led by newly appointed PhilHealth president and CEO Dante Gierran will be done via teleconferencing.  —KBK, GMA News
