Teachers praised for engaging with online students via dance
As the country transitions to blended learning amid the COVID-19 pandemic, teachers at a Muntinlupa private school found that dancing was an effective way of catching their elementary students’ attention.
According to Oscar Oida’s Tuesday report on “24 Oras,” Lenn dela Peña and Tinn Diesta decided to dance during classes so that their students would be more interested in learning activities.
The teachers' efforts earned praise from netizens as it spoke to the dedication they had for their work.
Meanwhile, dela Peña said she was worried at first because she feared getting bashed online over what they were doing. Nevertheless, she said that they enjoyed doing it.
“Sabi nga po nila, children learn best when they are having fun,” dela Peña said.
— DVM, GMA News
