PNP reports 50 new COVID-19 cases

The Philippine National Police (PNP) on Friday reported 50 more coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) infections, bringing the total to 6,636.

According to the PNP, total recoveries also rose to 5,950 after 50 more personnel recovered from the illness while the death toll remained at 20.

At present, the agency has 666 active cases.

The Philippines has reported a total of 351,750 cases with 294,865 recoveries and 6,531 fatalities.—Joahna Lei Casilao/LDF, GMA News
