IATF allows face-to-face medical internship at PGH

The government’s COVID-19 task force has allowed the University of the Philippines College of Medicine to resume its face-to-face clinical internship program, Malacañang said Friday.

Presidential spokesperson Harry Roque said the internship will take place at the Philippine General Hospital in Manila. The PGH is administered by state-run UP.

The university had also disclosed plans to establish an extension of the PGH inside the UP main campus in Diliman, Quezon City to expand the health facility's existing capacity and create an additional training ground for more aspiring doctors. —LBG, GMA News
