Over 110,000 individuals remained displaced a week after Super Typhoon Rolly (international name: Goni), said to be the strongest storm of 2020, hit the Philippines.

In its latest report, the Office of Civil Defense (OCD) said 119,572 people remained displaced as of 7 p.m. on Sunday, November 8, 2020.

Of those displaced, 75,197 individuals or 19,557 families were inside evacuation centers, while 44,375 people or 11,911 families were outside evacuation centers.

The death toll still stood at 21, with four individuals still missing -- three in Guinobatan, Albay, and one in San Miguel, Catanduanes, as reported earlier on Sunday.

The government had meanwhile released P42.861 billion to assist the Bicol Region, one of the most hard-hit areas. The amount included P34.641 billion from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) and P8.220 billion from the OCD.

Most of the aid, P15.115 billion, went to Catanduanes; followed by Albay with P15.049 billion; Camarines Sur with P9.291 billion; Camarines Norte with P1.847 billion; Sorsogon with P1.390 billion;  and Masbate with P166,030.00.
