US-CDC recommends cutting COVID quarantine period to 7 days

United States' Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is recommending shortening COVID-19 standard 14-day quarantine period to seven or 10 days.

Tweets from some US mainstream media outlets indicate that the US CDC  will soon revise its guidance on COVID isolation period, at least in the United States.

A Reuters news article on Wednesday, citing the Associated Press, said "the updated guidelines will let people who have come in contact to someone infected with the coronavirus to end quarantine after 10 days, or seven days provided they receive a negative test result, the report said." —LBG, GMA News
