St. Scholastica's College-Tacloban grad tops January 2021 Med Tech exams

The Professional Regulation Commission announced on Monday that St. Scholastica's College-Tacloban graduate Fred Lawrence Delantar Samante topped the January 2021 Medical Technologist Licensure Examination with a 91.40 percent rating.

Far Eastern University-Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation's Angelo Pansoy Huliganga was second with a 91.20 rating, while Tiffany Jane Bautista Cabildo of the Medical College of Northern Philippines was third with a 90.00 rating.

Included in the Medical Technologist Licensure Examination top 10 were:

4. Bonifacio Ainnung Coloma of the Far Eastern University-Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation - 89.80%
5. Angelica Mae Bautista Aguilar of Saint Louis University - 89.60%
6. Salvador Cabrigas Sampayan Jr. of Southwestern University - 89.50%
7. Jacque Andrei Vergara Ramos of Saint Paul University-Tuguegarao - 89.30%
8. Clarisse Althea Deodato Adduru of the Cagayan State University-Andrews Campus and Raisa Manzano Mirza of the University of the East Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center - 89.00%
9. Tom Kairo Tallud Pacquing of the Cagayan State University-Andrews Campus - 88.90%
10. Albright Dew Banan Baua of the Cagayan State University-Andrews Campus, Princess Erica Bonete Garcia of the University of Perpetual Help System-Laguna, and Nathanielle Mae Umpar Rosal of the Far Eastern University-Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation - 88.80%.

Of the 2,835 who took the licensure examination given by the Board of Medical Technology, 1,919 passed the exam.

The Medical Technologist Licensure Examination was given in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan De Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pampanga, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga last January 2021. — DVM, GMA News
