Duterte visits parents' tombs before going back to Manila

President Rodrigo Duterte stopped by the family mausoleum in Davao City before taking the flight back to Manila.

In photos released by Malacañang on Monday, Duterte was seen praying and kissing the tombs of his parents Vicente and Soledad Duterte.

The elder Duterte was a former governor of Davao, while Soledad, nicknamed Soling, was a teacher and activist who fought against former President Ferdinand Marcos' rule in Davao City. —KG, GMA News
