Duterte's birthday wish: End of COVID-19 pandemic

President Rodrigo Duterte wants the COVID-19 pandemic to end, his spokesperson Harry Roque said Thursday, ahead of the chief executive’s 76th birthday.

“I’m sure the President wishes an end to this pandemic and he wants us to return to normal life. This means a return to high annual growth rate because he promised a comfortable life for all,” Roque said at a press briefing.

Roque did not say where the President will celebrate his birthday on March 28.

Duterte spent his birthday while on self-quarantine in Malacañang last year.—LDF, GMA News
