Duterte jogs, rides motorcycle in Go's fresh photo, video FB posts
Amid recent speculations on his health condition, President Rodrigo Duterte goes out to jog and ride his motorcycle as seen in photos and a video post by his long-time personal aide and now Senator Christopher "Bong" Go.
Senator Go posted pictures and a video of Duterte jogging, walking and riding a motorcycle -- the President's favorite hobbies.
Once more, in bid to inform the public that the President is doing well, Go made the posts, together with the call to support the chief executive during these trying times:
“Mga kababayan ko, Malungkot at Mahirap ang maging Pangulo sa Panahong ito. Suportahan natin si Tatay Digong, ang taong totoong nagmamahal sa ating kapwa Pilipino,” Go wrote on his Facebook post.
In a text message to GMA News Online, Go said Duterte jogged at around 1 a.m. Saturday outside Bahay Pagbabago -- Duterte's official residence inside Malacañang compound.
Earlier this week, rumors about Duterte suffering from a heart attack circulated following the rescheduling of his weekly “Talk to the people.”
The rumors were quickly dispelled by Go after posting a picture of Duterte who was seen handling lots of paperwork.
Go also said that the weekly address was postponed after 45 members of the Presidential Security Group tested positive for COVID-19.
Moreover, Go shared another picture of Duterte on Thursday as proof that the President is in good condition.
In the midst questions over Duterte’s absence at his weekly public appearances, Vice President Leni Robredo on Friday said it was the “natural instinct” of people to look for their leader during a crisis situation.
Several social media posts inquiring President Rodrigo Duterte’s whereabouts have trended online in the past few days. —LBG, GMA News
