Isko Moreno wishes 'Duterte-Duterte' tandem well but disagrees with 'inherited' posts

Manila Mayor Isko Moreno on Friday wished well the planned presidential ticket of Davao City Mayor  Sara Duterte and President Rodrigo Duterte.

Moreno, who has also been ranking in presidential preference surveys, said he didn't believe in positions being passed by a parent to his child.

Asked what he thought of a Duterte-Duterte tandem, Moreno said, "Good luck. I wish them well."

The idea of Sara running for president with the Chief Executive as her running mate has come to fore following the Davao mayor topping recent election surveys.

This was boosted by the PDP-Laban national council passing a resolution urging Duterte to run for vice president.

Moreno said he didn't believe in political dynasties.
