PNP COVID-19 cases climb to 29,245

Forty-seven more personnel of the Philippine National Police (PNP) tested positive for the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) on Saturday, bringing the total to 29,245.

The PNP also announced that total recoveries climbed to 27,852 after 97 more patients recovered from the illness.

Meanwhile, one new fatality brought the death toll to 78.

There are still 1,315 PNP personnel undergoing treatment.

The Philippines logged a total of 1.5 million infections, of which 1,428,504 have recovered and 26,598 have died. — DVM, GMA News
