Allowed on-site, venue capacity of biz establishments under various community quarantines

The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) has issued a list of allowable capacity for businesses under varying community quarantine classifications.

“With the community quarantine classifications approved under IATF Resolution No. 130-A and 130-D, Series of 2021 for the period of 1 August 2021 to 31 August 2021, please be advised of the allowable on-site operational or venue/seating capacity of business establishments/activities under the various community quarantines,” the DTI Advisory No. 21-16, series of 2021, issued on August 6 read.

The government placed the National Capital Region (NCR) under enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) from August 6 to 20 due to a surge of new COVID-19 cases amid the threat of the more contagious Delta coronavirus variant.

It also imposed the strictest quarantine classification in the provinces of Laguna and Cagayan de Oro as well as Iloilo City from August 6 to 15.

Meanwhile, the provinces of Cavite, Lucena City, Rizal and Iloilo Province are under modified ECQ during the same period.

Batangas and Quezon, on the other hand, will be under general community quarantine (GCQ) with heightened restrictions from August 6 to 15.

The municipality of Gingoog will be placed under GCQ with heightened restrictions from August 8 to 15.
