Digitalization of PHLPost expected to be finished by November
The digitalization of the Philippine Postal Corporation's system is expected to be completed by November, a lawmaker said Wednesday.
During the resumption of the plenary deliberations on House Bill 10153 or the 2022 General Appropriations Bill (GAB), ACT Teachers party-list Representative France Castro asked for updates on the modernization of the PHLPost.
Committee on Appropriations vice chairman and Zamboanga City Representative Manuel "Mannix" Dalipe, who sponsored the measure, ensured that the digitalization would be finished this year, specifically by November.
"Rest assured po within the year matatapos po 'yung computerization, digitalization ng Philippine Postal Corporation and by November, expected po completed na po 'yung modernization, digitalization ng Philippine Postal Corporation. The month we're looking out is November," Dalipe said.
