Crush ng Bayan wants to be president, files COC for Eleksyon 2022

A certain Danilo Villanueva from Bagong Silang, Caloocan City, on Wednesday filed his certificate of candidacy for president in next year's national and local elections.

The 50-year-old Villanueva, whose nickname is "Crush ng Bayan," filed his COC past 2:30 p.m. He said he would run as an independent.

The filing of COC for national posts — scaled down this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic — is being held at the Harbor Garden Tent inside the Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila compound in Pasay City.
