Duque gets Sinovac booster shot

Health Secretary Francisco Duque III on Wednesday said he already got his booster shot against COVID-19.

At a Kapihan sa Manila Bay forum, Duque disclosed that he got a Sinovac booster dose three weeks ago.

"Yes, I had mine three weeks ago..." Duque said.

"Sinovac din ako, lahat okay 'yan... lahat ng bakuna natin okay..." he added.

(I had Sinovac, all our vaccines are okay.)

Duque urged the public to get booster shots as an added layer of protection against coronavirus, including the highly transmissible Omicron variant.

"Magpa-booster na po kayo sa lalong madaling panahon dahil malaki po ang dagdag protection taglay ng ating mga bakuna laban sa Omicron lalo na ang booster," he said.
