Ombudsman's offices in QC, Davao City closed until Jan. 28


The Office of the Ombudsman's main office in Quezon City and Mindanao branch in Davao City will be closed until January 28 amid the increasing number of employees infected with COVID-19.

In separate memorandum circulars, Ombudsman Samuel Martires said no personnel will be allowed inside office premises during the period without authorization from the Ombudsman.

All personnel holding offices in Quezon City and Davao City are directed to continue to work from home.

Martires said the filing of pleadings, motions, affidavits, and other relevant documents before all offices of the Ombudsman in Quezon City and Davao City will be deemed interrupted and the period of filing is set to begin on January 31.

Applicants for Ombudsman clearances may deposit their applications at drop boxes at the Ombudsman-Quezon City entrance gate. In Davao City, the drop boxes are located at the back gate of the Ombudsman-Mindanao building.
