SC stops Comelec dismissal of party-list group
The Supreme Court on Monday issued a temporary restraining order (TRO) against the Commission on Elections (Comelec) over its dismissal of a party-list group.
In its TRO, the high tribunal granted the petition of Juan — Pinagkaisang Ordinaryong Mamamayan Para Yumabong.

The SC found the petition to be sufficient in form and substance.
“Whereas considering the allegations contained, the issues raised and the arguments adduced in the Petition, it is necessary and proper to require the respondent to comment on the petition within a non-extendible period of 10 days from notice,” it said
Comelec spokesperson James Jimenez on Sunday announced that the printing of the official ballots for the 2022 national and local elections has begun.—LDF, GMA News
