DFA considers allowing entry of unvaxxed but with longer quarantine
The Philippine Department of Foreign Affairs is considering letting in unvaccinated travelers provided they will be subjected to longer quarantine period.
In a post on Twitter on Friday, DFA Secretary Teodoro Locsin Jr. said, "We are considering letting in the unvaccinated but with long quarantines."
Also, those vaccinated from visa-fee countries, and with mutually recognized vaccination cards, will be allowed entry.
We are considering letting in the unvaccinated but with long quarantines. The vaccinated will be allowed in provided they come from visa-free countries and present mutually recognized vaccination cards. Hurray.

In late November last year, the Philippines announced that it will begin accepting fully vaccinated foreigners. The policy was supposed to be implemented from December 1 to 15, 2021.
On December 6, 2021, National Task Force Against COVID-19 adviser Dr. Ted Herbosa suggested the government undertake a review of green list countries that may be detected with the Omicron variant, which was classified a variant of concern by the World Health Organization.
Herbosa made the suggestion after he was asked if the government should reconsider allowing foreigners who are allowed to stay in the country without a visa from Dec. 1 to Dec 15. —LBG, GMA News
