Robin Padilla completes UniTeam's senatorial slate

Actor Robin Padilla is the 12th aspirant to be named to the senate slate of presidential hopeful Bongbong Marcos and running mate Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte's UniTeam.

Duterte made the announcement at a campaign rally in Paoay, Ilocos Norte.

"Twelve na po kaming ngayong araw na ito," she said.

The other members of the UniTeam slate are:

• former Palace spokesperson Harry Roque
• former Quezon City Mayor Herbert Bautista
• former Defense secretary Gibo Teodoro
• former senator Loren Legarda
• lawyer Larry Gadon
• Senator Migz Zubiri
• Senator Sherwin Gatchalian
• former Information and Communications secretary Gringo Honasan
• former senator Jinggoy Estrada
• House Deputy Speaker Rodante Marcoleta

Padilla, who took his oath as a member of the ruling party PDP-Laban last October, Padilla supported and campaigned for President Rodrigo Duterte in the 2016 national elections.

Padilla's father Roy served as Camarines Norte governor in 1970 and assemblyman in 1980. — BM, GMA News
