Bro. Eddie 'humbled' by Pacquiao's plan to appoint him as anti-corruption czar

House Deputy Speaker Bro. Eddie Villanueva said Thursday he is humbled by the plan of presidential candidate Senator Manny Pacquiao to appoint him as anti-corruption czar if the former wins in the presidential race.

"Well, first of all, I am so humbled and honored by such offer and of course, at present we are weighing all the different platforms of presidential candidates," Villanueva said in an interview on ANC.

Asked if the Jesus is Lord (JIL) Church will make an endorsement in the coming elections, Villanueva, its founder, said: "As of now we are studying the platforms of presidential candidates."

Pacquiao earlier said he wants Villanueva to be an anti-corruption czar as he wants the latter's plan in fighting corruption.
