Sara's birthday wish for President Duterte: Good health, happiness

STA. CRUZ, Laguna - Vice presidential candidate Sara Duterte on Thursday wished good health and happiness for her father, President Rodrigo Duterte, who will turn 77 years old on March 28. 

“Mr. President, happy birthday. I wish you good health and happiness,” the Davao City mayor said when asked for her birthday message to her father.

Mayor Sara said she has not talked to her father yet.

She earlier said she wishes her father would endorse her tandem with Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr., who is running for president in the May 9 elections. 

President Duterte met with Marcos recently, but the chief executive has yet to announce whom he will support to succeed him in Malacañang. — VBL, GMA News
