Traffic aide hurt in spat with alleged Baby Arenas child

MANILA, Philippines - A traffic aide was injured following a spat with an alleged child of socialite Rosemarie "Baby" Arenas in Makati City Thursday night. Radio dzBB reported that the incident occurred at the corner of Paseo de Roxas and Makati Avenue, when the black BMW sedan (XKS-181) of Arenas' supposed child tried to run over the traffic aide. The traffic aide team leader, initially identified as Francisco Roxas, was hurt in the foot and was rushed to the Ospital ng Makati where he is under observation. One of the traffic aides said the passenger of the BMW claimed to be a child of Arenas, and was initially flagged down for a traffic violation. But he sped off and started a chase. "Nang naabutan, nakainom parang wala sa sarili (When we caught up with him, he seemed drunk)," said one of the traffic aides, adding he refused to give his driver's license. - GMANews.TV
