Over 930K doses of reformulated Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine arrived in the Philippines


A total of 936,000 doses of reformulated Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine arrived in the Philippines on Thursday night.

The newest shipment batch of government procured vaccines through the World Bank arrived in the country a few minutes after 8 p.m.

The country also earlier received an additional 936,000 doses of reformulated Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine for children aged 5 to 11.

Meanwhile, over 65.6 million individuals or 72.93% of the government’s target population are now fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

At least 11.8 million have received their booster shots after reaching the three to six-month requirement.

The Philippines on Thursday reported 327 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the total caseload to 3,678,245. -- BAP, GMA News
