List of top senatoriables in Comelec’s partial tally unchanged ahead of proclamation
The names of the top twelve candidates in the 2022 senatorial race based on the partial and official canvassing results of the National Board of Canvassers (NBOC) remained consistent two days before the proclamation of winners.
Sitting as the NBOC, the Commission on Elections (Comelec) canvassed 159 Certificates of Canvass (COCs) for senators and party-list groups from the automated election system, manual overseas voting, and local absentee voting as of Sunday.
The following are the Top 12 senatoriables based on the NBOC’s National Tally Sheet Report Number 5, released on May 15, 2022 at 8:49 p.m.:

Comelec Commissioner George Garcia announced on Sunday that the Comelec would proclaim all the winning senators on Wednesday afternoon, while partial winning party-list groups would be proclaimed on Thursday afternoon.
The NBOC resumed the canvassing of votes past 3 p.m. on Monday. Canvassed were the COCs from 63 barangays in Cotabato; and COCs from Philippine Embassies in Mexico Prague, Abuja, Tehran, Nairobi, Bangladesh, Timor-Leste, Myanmar, Copenhagen, Oslo, the Vatican, and Hong Kong.
All in all, the NBOC canvassed 172 out of 173 COCs as of Monday afternoon.
The Comelec is eyeing to conduct special elections in Tubaran, Lanao del Sur on May 24 after its reported failure of elections, acting poll spokesperson John Rex Laudiangco said on Saturday. — DVM, GMA News
