Marcos picks Anton Lagdameo as special assistant

President-elect Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. said Thursday he wants former lawmaker Anton Lagdameo to be his special assistant.

Marcos said it would be easy for Lagdameo, a former Davao del Norte congressman, to work with him as they have known each other for years.

"We've known each other since he was a child, hindi na ko child noon. He was young, he knows me very well, he's been with us working for me for the past ten years," Marcos said at a press briefing held a day after his proclamation.
