Philippines' big four universities make it to QS World University Rankings 2023

QS World University Rankings 2023 named the University of the Philippines, Ateneo de Manila University, De La Salle University, and the University of Santo Tomas as among the world's leading higher education institutions.

UP ranked the highest at 412, followed by ADMU in the 651-700 bracket. DLSU and UST are both ranked in the 801-1,000 bracket.

According to QS, its ranking's criteria involve "academic reputation to the number of international students enrolled" as well as employer reputation, faculty to student ratio, citation per faculty, and international faculty, among others.

Out of more than 100 locations covering 2,462 institutions, only 1,422 institutions ranked.

In 2021, 15 Philippine schools landed in the 2022 QS ranking of best Asian universities.
