Marcos eyeing to disclose more Cabinet secretaries before inauguration
President-elect Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. said Monday he is eyeing to announce other members of his Cabinet before his inauguration on June 30.
At a press conference, Marcos was specifically asked who will lead the Departments of Health, Foreign Affairs, and Transportation under his administration.
"I've been seeing some speculations. The short lists are getting shorter. Let me put it that way. If we started with ten names, dozen names, we are down to maybe three or two," he said.
"I won't be surprised if we have an appointee or a nominee within the next week or so. I really want to get as many of those done before the inauguration," he added.
The names of Dr. Teddy Herbosa and Dr. Edsel Salvana have been floated as among those being considered to be the next DOH chief.
