25 spectators suffer from dizziness, high blood pressure during Marcos’ inauguration


At least 25 people who attended the inauguration of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. at the National Museum of Fine Arts on Thursday experienced dizziness and high blood pressure.

According to the personnel of the Department of Health, the medical team’s tent at the museum received patients aged around 40 to 55 years old.

They added that nine more inauguration spectators went to them to have  their blood pressure checked.

Around 7,000 people including VIPs attended the inauguration, Manila Police District spokesperson Police Major Phillip Ines said.

Meanwhile, a kid went missing at the venue of the inauguration around 7 a.m. in Intramuros area, a personnel from the Philippine National Police - Anti-Kidnapping Group said.

The PNP-AKG personnel told GMA News Online that the police asked the company of the missing girl about her description.

After roaming for around four hours, the police found the girl outside Intramuros and golf course area around 11 a.m.

The police confiscated prohibited items including “cutter” from some spectators upon their entrance to the Intramuros golf course.

On the other hand, a man was accosted by the police after he climbed over the fence to get into the venue and avoid the inspection.—AOL, GMA News
