DOTr chief taps Manuel Boholano as PPA general manager

Transportation Secretary Jaime Bautista confirmed on Friday that port manager Manuel Boholano was designated officer-in-charge, general manager of the Philippine Ports Authority (PPA).

Bautista confirmed this in a message to GMA News Online.

The PPA said Boholano would perform and discharge the functions and responsibilities of an officer-in-charge and general manager until July 31, 2022 or until a permanent general manager has been designated.

Boholano has been with PPA since 1988.

He became a port manager in 2005 and is presently designated at the Port Management Office of Eastern Leyte-Samar.—LDF, GMA News
