Japanese Embassy to open condolence book for Abe on July 11-12

The Japanese Embassy in the Philippines will open a condolence book for the late Japanese prime minister Shinzo Abe on July 11 to July 12, 2022.

The embassy announced that the signing of the condolence book will be open from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., and 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on both days at its office in Pasay City.

The entrance of the activity will be at the embassy’s Japan Information and Culture Center.

Those who wish to visit have to bring a government-issued ID. They are also required to wear their face masks.

Parking at the Embassy is however available, it advised.

Abe, Japan's longest-serving prime minister, passed away after he was shot while delivering a campaign speech on Friday. He was 67. —Giselle Ombay/KG, GMA News
