Marcos appoints 3 new DOJ undersecretaries
President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. has appointed three new undersecretaries to the Department of Justice, Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla confirmed Wednesday.
They are Jesse Andres, the former chief of staff of former vice president Noli de Castro; Geronimo Lim Sy, and Jose Ragus Cadiz Jr.
Meanwhile, Deo Marco remained as a Justice undersecretary while Nicholas Ty was promoted to undersecretary from assistant secretary.
“Yes, kulang pa 'yan (there’s more),” Remulla told GMA News Online.
He added that he is still waiting for the complete list of appointments.
At a press conference, Remulla said there are two more appointments for the position of undersecretary and four more for the position of assistant secretary.
Andres replaced former Usec. Adrian Sugay; Sy replaced former Usec. Emmeline Aglipay-Villar; while Cadiz replaced former Usec. Jon Salvahan. — Joahna Lei Casilao/RSJ, GMA News
