Marcos appoints new PNR, LRTA officials
President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. appointed new officials to the Philippine National Railways (PNR) and the Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA).
In a Friday statement, the Department of Transportation (DOTr) said Jeremy Regino was appointed as acting general manager of the PNR while Henry Uri was designated as acting member of the PNR Board of Directors.
Meanwhile, Attorney Hernando Cabrera was appointed as LRTA's new administrator.
According to the DOTr, Regino was previously administrator of the LRTA, while Uri was a broadcaster and member of the Board of Directors under the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA).
Cabrera, meanwhile, served as LRTA's spokesperson before his new post.
The new appointments will be confirmed by their respective Board of Directors, the DOTr said. — DVM, GMA News
