Marcos appoints Solidum as DOST chief

President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. has appointed Renato Solidum Jr. as chief of the Department of Science and Technology.

This was confirmed by Press Secretary Trixie Cruz-Angeles on Friday.

Prior to his new post, Solidum served as chief of the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS). — RSJ, GMA News
