In an interview with reporters, President Marcos said he felt fine and that he did not feel anything after he was administered with a second booster dose.
"Wala naman so far. Hindi naman sumakit ‘yung braso ko. So I feel fine," he said.
(No [adverse symptoms] so far. My arm does not hurt. So I feel fine.)
President Marcos was infected with COVID-19 twice. The first one was in March 2020 while the second was in July of this year.
The President earlier said if he had not been completely vaccinated and received a booster shot against COVID-19, his most recent infection might had been worse.
President Marcos has since urged the public to get additional protection against COVID-19.
Further, he has called on local officials to support the administration’s booster campaign in order for face-to-face classes to safely resume and for the economy to fully recover from the health crisis. —KG, GMA News
