Grace Poe tested positive for COVID-19, says Zubiri

Senator Grace Poe has tested positive for COVID-19, Senate President Juan Miguel Zubiri disclosed Wednesday.

"Senator Grace Poe, ma'am, please get well soon from your COVID-19," Zubiri said during the Senate session Wednesday.

"We pray in the Senate that you stay safe and that you can hurdle COVID-19. I'm sure you will do well."

Poe joined the session virtually, along with three other senators namely Francis Escudero, Cynthia Villar, and Ramon Revilla Jr.

Escudero was exposed to a COVID-19 patient, Villar is still recovering from the same disease, while Revilla is recovering from his eye surgery, Zubiri said. —KBK, GMA News
