CA panel OKs Laguesma’s appointment as Labor secretary

A Commission on Appointments committee endorsed the appointment of Bienvenido Laguesma as secretary of the Department of Labor and Employment to the plenary on Tuesday.

This came after Senator JV Ejercito made the motion to recommend Laguesma's ad interim appointment to the CA plenary during the continuation of the Committee on Labor, Employment, Social Welfare and Migrant Worker's hearing.

It was seconded by Senator Risa Hontiveros. — RSJ, GMA News
