Marcos says monitoring of energy facilities on "high alert" amid Typhoon Karding
President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. said on Sunday that the Department of Energy (DOE) has placed "at the highest alert level" the monitoring of all energy-related facilities in Metro Manila, Central Luzon, Southern Luzon and nearby areas affected by Typhoon Karding.

Marcos announced in his Twitter post that all concerned personnel are also task to monitor for immediate action that may be needed as the typhoon continues to batter the country.
The president said Energy Undersecretary Wimpy Fuentebella will call a meeting of the energy resiliency group and will hold a news conference to give an update on the status of energy facilities amid the typhoon. —LDF, GMA News
