OFW surprises parents by coming out of balikbayan box

An OFW surprised her parents by coming out of a balikbayan box all of a sudden.

As seen on Jasmin Gabriel-Galban’s “24 Oras” report Wednesday, Ann Gellie Genaro’s parents cried out of joy upon seeing their daughter after four long years.

“Pagkabukas nung kahon, talagang halo-halo na yung pakiramdam at saka surprise,” mom Rowenna Mamangun said. “Umiyak na lang ako. Syempre matagal na hindi mo siya nakikita.”

Ann said she was scheduled to go home to Pampanga on October 19, but decided to fly earlier as she already missed her loved ones. She asked her family to help with the surprise.

Rowenna is about to celebrate her birthday and according to her, this is the best gift ever.—Franchesca Viernes/LDF, GMA News
