1,431 examinees pass Dentist Licensure Exam; UP grad tops passers


A total of 1,431 examinees out of 2,341 passed the Dentist Licensure Examination given in November by the Board of Dentistry, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) said on Tuesday.

The exam was given in Manila, Baguio, and Cebu.

University of the Philippines-Manila graduate Janelle Kirsten Ong Go topped the exam with a rating of 83.64%.

She was followed by:

  • 2 - Danielle Clarisse Escote Malagkit, University of the East-Manila, 83.60%;
  • 3 - Tristan Robby Layne Usita Legaspi, UP-Manila, 83.50%;
  • 4 - Jose Paulo de la Cruz Ingaran, Centro Escolar University-Manila, 83.40%;
  • 5 - Belie Jean Tomambid Vallespin, Southwestern University, 83.30%;
  • 6 - Chelsie Cabalce Horiondo, UP-Manila, 82.93%;
  • 7 - Patricia Rye Vergara Estrella, CEU-Manila, 82.63%;
  • 8 - Patricia Dy Co, UE-Manila, 82.17%;
  • 9 - Leonah Jean de los Reyes Polopot, Our Lady of Fatima University-Valenzuela, 82.07%;
  • 9 - Selina Jasmin Shi Young, UE-Manila, 82.07%; and
  • 10 - Jennifer Cristy Barras Kambeitz, CEU-Makati, 81.90%.

Meanwhile, the top performing schools are Centro Escolar University-Makati (95.93%), followed by University of Baguio (93.85%) and CEU-Malolos (86.30%).

The PRC said successful examinees may register online (www.prc.gov.ph) on February 13-17, Feb. 20-24, and March 1-3, 2023 for the issuance of their professional ID card and certificate of registration.

However, registration and signing in the Roster of Registered Professionals must be done personally.

The PRC said it will announce later the date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony of the successful examinees. —KG, GMA Integrated News
