Palace bares new appointees in DA, DILG, DOLE


The Presidential Communications Office (PCO) on Thursday announced the latest appointments in various government agencies, including the Department of Agriculture, Department of Labor and Employment, and the Department of the Interior and Local Government.

The new appointees in the DA includes Jose Albert Barrogo (Director III) and Luz Marcelino (Director III) while in the DILG, Debie Torres was named as Director IV.

In the DOLE, the following were also appointed:

  • Rhoda Caliwara, Member, Representing the Employers’ Sector, National Tripartite Industrial Peace Council;
  • Temistocles Dejon Jr., Member, Representing the Labor Sector, National Tripartite Industrial Peace Council;
  • Gerard Seno, Member, Representing the Labor Sector, National Tripartite Industrial Peace Council; and
  • Lucila Tarriela, Member, Representing the Employers’ Sector, National Tripartite Industrial Peace Council

Meanwhile, Gerald Divinagracia was named as deputy director-general of the Office of the President's Anti-Red Tape Authority while Grace Fernandez and Leonardo Tapia were appointed as Director IV of the said office.

On the other hand, Ferdinand Negre was appointed as commissioner of the Philippine Competition Commission. — Anna Felicia Bajo/RSJ, GMA Integrated News
