MMSU Batac grad tops March 2023 physicians licensure examination

A graduate of Mariano Marcos State University in Batac topped the March 2023 physicians licensure examination, according to the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on Thursday.

The exam, given by the Board of Medicine in Metro Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga, was taken by 2,887 test takers, of whom 1,573 passed.

Achieving the highest score of 89% is Aira Cassandra Suguitan Castro of MMSU Batac, while the top performing school with at least 50 test takers is the University of Santo Tomas. Fifty-one of it 61 test takers passed the exam for a success rate of 83.61%.
