Israel's Iron Dome intercepts volley of rockets from Gaza

Israel's Iron Dome intercepts a barrage of rockets fired from the Gaza Strip amid retaliatory strikes on the Palestinian enclave, an Agence France-Presse video tweet indicated Friday.

In an earlier tweet, AFP also said that Israeli army announces before dawn Friday that it is carrying out "strikes in Lebanon" from where more than 30 rockets were fired at Israel on Thursday.

Citing Palestinian security sources, AFP earlier reported that Israel's strikes had hit several Hamas training sites.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed that Israel's enemies would "pay the price" after 34 rockets were fired from Lebanon into Israeli territory earlier in the day, AFP added. —LBG, GMA Integrated News
