Remains of mother, 2 sons discovered in Caloocan
MANILA, Philippines - April Fool's Day turned gruesome for residents of a village in Caloocan City, who discovered before dawn Tuesday the bodies of a 36-year-old woman and her two children who were brutally killed inside their home. Police suspect victims Marife Ordonio, 36, and sons Mark John, 12, and Juvrey Ivan, 4, were killed as early as Sunday as the bodies had already started to decompose when discovered. Radio dzBB reported that the victims, found inside their house at Blk. 11, Lot 13, Phase 2, Natividad Subdivision in Deparo, Caloocan City, were hogtied then stabbed in different parts of the body. Marife was also gagged. Investigators suspect robbery as the motive behind the crime, where at least two suspects in the crime passed through the windows to gain entry to the house. The family's patriarch is reportedly working abroad. Radio dzBB's Roland Bola reported that relatives of the victims said Mark John had graduated barely a week ago. - GMANews.TV
