708 pass physical therapists exam, 128 pass occupational therapists exam

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on Tuesday announced that 708 test takers out of 1,026 passed the physical therapists licensure examination and 128 out of 215 passed the occupational therapists licensure examination, both given earlier this month.

According to the PRC, the examinations were given by the Board of Physical and Occupational Therapy in Metro Manila, Baguio, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Pampanga and Rosales.

Edzelle Mhay Benitez Naquila of Southwestern University topped the physical therapists licensure examination with a grade of 89.90%, while Nadine Frances Yap Reyes of University of the Philippines - Manila topped the occupational therapists licensure examination with a grade of 85.40%.

The top performing school in the June 2023 physical therapists licensure
examination with 30 or more test takers is the Remedios T. Romualdez Medical Foundation, with 35 of its 38 test takers passing.

The top performing school in the June 2023 occupational therapists licensure
examination with 10 or more test takers is Emilio Aguinaldo College - Manila, with all 12 of its test takers passing.
