Visitors in yellow were seen at the mausoleum, which was also filled with yellow and white flowers.
Among those present were Aquino's sisters Ballsy Aquino-Cruz and Pinky-Aquino Abellada, former Interior Secretary Mar Roxas, former Senators Franklin Drilon and Bam Aquino, and Kris Aquino’s sons Josh and Bimby.
Police officers from the Parañaque City Police Station were deployed to keep order at the cemetery.
Aquino, who was the 15th president of the country from 2010 to 2016, died in 2021 at his home on Times Street due to renal disease secondary to diabetes. He is the only son of martyred Senator Benigno "Ninoy" Aquino, Jr. and the late President Corazon Aquino. — DVM, GMA Integrated News
