Marcos appoints Al Perreras as BuCor deputy director general

President Ferdinand Marcos has appointed lawyer Al Perreras as the new deputy director general of the Bureau of Corrections (BuCor).

Perreras replaced former BuCor spokesperson Gabriel Chaclag.

GMA News Online has sought comment from Perreras and BuCor Director General Gregorio Catapang Jr. but has yet to receive a response as of posting time.

Prior to his appointment, Perreras served as the legal counsel of BuCor. He was appointed months after the appointment of Catapang.—LDF, GMA Integrated News
