6 hurt in graduation party attack in Marikina City


MARIKINA CITY, Philippines - At least six persons were injured after a drunk man attacked them at a graduation party in Marikina City Monday night. Radio dzBB's Sam Nielsen reported Tuesday that police were still puzzled over the motive of the attacker Bersal Palobo. Brought to the Amang Rodriguez Medical Center in the city were William Blanco, Lucille Reyes-Domingo, Salvador Esteban Ferrer, Ramon Villa Gabriel, Joven Fetalver, and Ricardo Villanario. Police said the six, who suffered bumps and bruises, were in stable condition as of Tuesday morning. The police said the six were at a graduation party held for Villanario's wife in Malanday village in Marikina when Palobo barged into the house. Without provocation, the suspect attacked the guests, prompting others on the house to call the police. A responding police team subdued and arrested Palobo.- GMANews.TV
