DOH records 111 new COVID-19 cases
The Department of Health logged 111 new COVID-19 cases on Tuesday, bringing the nation’s total coronavirus cases to 4,114,099.
According to DOH’s COVID-19 tracker, active cases decreased by 38 to 2,867, while recoveries increased by 149 cases to 4,044,536. The death toll remains at 66,696.
The region with the most new COVID-19 cases over the past 14 days is the National Capital Region with 856, followed by Calabarzon with 333, Central Luzon with 203, the Davao Region with 151 and Soccsksargen with 108.
Among cities and provinces, Quezon City had the most new COVID-19 cases over the past 14 days with 209, followed by Rizal with 139, Bulacan with 101, Cavite with 98 and Davao City with 91.
Meanwhile, over 3,916 COVID-19 tests were submitted by 304 laboratories on Monday with a 13.4% cumulative positivity rate.
COVID-19 bed occupancy rate is 14.9% with 3,118 occupied beds—2,025 of which are in the Intensive Care Unit—and 17,776 vacant. — Jiselle Anne C. Casucian/BM, GMA Integrated News
